(1) Using Planning 101, you should have completed the following preparations:

72 Hour Kit (Bug Out Bag) / Auto Kit
Food Storage – A One Year Supply
Off Grid / Water – A Two Month Supply
Business / Employment

(2) With the above preparations, you should be ready for Stages 1A through 1D:

STAGE 1 (local)
1A – Loss of employment where you need your own emergency supplies to maintain your existence.
1B – Loss of pension where you need your own emergency supplies to maintain your existence.
1C – Loss of entitlement where you need your own emergency supplies to maintain your existence.
1D – Disasters outside of your own local area where you may choose to help others.

(3) Other possible events need additional planning. In order of probability (depending on your location), these events might include:

STAGE 1 (local)
1E – Local home disasters.
1F – Local natural disasters.
1G – Local man made disasters (including government / terrorism).
1H – Local crime / civil unrest between residents.
1I – Local crime / civil war between residents.
1J – Local crime / war between residents and a corrupt government.

(4) For category 1E, review your needs during and after the most probable disasters in your own home:
Bugging Out / Relocation – Could you vacate your home fast in an earthquake or fire?
Communication – Where are your emergency telephone numbers and how would you communicate?
First Aid – Would you need a larger first aid kit?

Off Grid / Electricity – How would you manage without home electricity?
Off Grid / Fuel – How would you manage without home fuel?
Off Grid / Hygiene / Sanitation – How would you manage without home waste removal?
Off Grid / Water – How would you manage without home water?

(5) For category 1F, review your needs during and after the most probable natural disasters in your own local area:
Disasters / Cold / Winter
Disasters / Drought / Floods
Disasters / Earthquakes
Disasters / Heat / Summer
Disasters / Hurricanes
Disasters / Solar
Disasters / Tornados
Disasters / Wildfires

Bugging Out / Relocation – Would you need to bug out / relocate?
Maintenance / Supplies – What other supplies would you need?

Off Grid / Electricity – How would you manage without grid electricity?
Off Grid / Fuel – How would you manage without grid fuel?
Off Grid / Hygiene / Sanitation – How would you manage without grid waste removal?
Off Grid / Water – How would you manage without grid water?

(6) For category 1G, review your needs during and after the most probable man made disasters in your own local area:
Disasters / Biological
Disasters / Chemical
Disasters / Nuclear

Bugging Out / Relocation – Would you need to bug out / relocate?
Maintenance / Supplies – What other supplies would you need?
Safety – What hazards (biological, chemical, fire, nuclear, smoke, etc.) could you be exposed to?

(7) For category 1H, review security needs in your own local area:

(8) For categories 1I and 1J, the best solution would be to relocate:
